Rock Notes The Heartbeat Series Book 1 eBook Renee Lee Fisher Meredith Bowery

First off, let me just say that I have never read a book with so much licking. And by that I mean on the face and ear area. You know that saying, "I licked it so it's mine"? That phrase is so appropriate for this book. It's like Rand is licking Madison all the time. It's kind of weird in a way. But then maybe that's just part of his rock star charm. The storyline was really interesting: a divorced woman is writing about a band she's currently following and the singer is totally into her but his rock star behavior confuses her and there's the ex-husband further confusing her. Thomas, you know, I just don't know how to explain this guy except to scream "Don't fall for that again, Madison!" Seriously, he needs to just leave things alone. With that being said, I loved the connection between Rand and Madison. There is soooo much build up to it all, but their time together is really sweet and he is such a good guy when they are alone. And the ending? It's the best!

Rock Notes The Heartbeat Series Book 1 eBook Renee Lee Fisher Meredith Bowery Reviews

****4 solid STARS****

A diary and documentary type read, Rock Notes has Madison Tierney following a band, the Rolling Isaac’s. Her goal is to publish a work based on every aspect of the band. Never in her wildest dreams did she expect to find love. She ends up finding a permanent place in the hearts of all the band members. The characters connections are beautifully developed. Rock Notes is a (sighs) very heartwarming story of individual rebirths, growth, trust, and accomplishments. I look forward to reading book two, Love Notes!!
This is a great first book in this series, which is collectively really good. Rock Notes is rock star romance, and though it's not the first book I've read in this sub-genre, this is definitely one of the best. The author writes a lot of other series that I'm a fan of, so I definitely had to give this series a try. It's highly suspenseful. As I read, I constantly wondered (and worried) which direction Maddy would take ex-husband vs. rock and roll star. This is another winning book from Renee Lee Fisher. I've read tons of her books and love most all of them thus far.
This was a good story of a rock star and a
Journalist who falls for him. Madison was happily married until her husband decided to leave her for a coworker. Broken hearted she decides now it’s time to do what she wants. She wants to follow a band and write a book about it. And that’s what she does. Rand is a rockstar who has love issues. Parts drove me crazy. But overall I enjoyed it.
Renee has done a excellent job with this book. It is a hot romance that grabs your heart. At least it did mine. It grasped it and held it till the end.

It was very well written and I could feel the emotions that the characters felt. I don't normally cry but I did through this story. Some parts were hard to read because of those emotions, but it is a wonderful read.

I will highly recommend this book as a MUST READ!!!!!!
I don't read many rockstar books now days because I felt that they are being over done but this one had been on my kindle for over a year so figured why not.

I like how Madison didn't give up when her husband left her. She was still spunky deep down, and I loved her perseverance.

Max Rand is your typical rock god. Young, hot, talented.... everything a women could want. Him being mysterious really drew me into his character.

I liked the plot, and the direction the author took. With out going into to many details I'll say that I was able to feel the emotions that the author was trying to invoke in readers.

Overall, I will read the next book, because I like the characters even when I hated them because of their actions. This was my first book by this author, and the slow burn aspect of the romance really drew me in. I can't wait to read more. 4 stars #2OCCJD
I loved this Book, it follows the Story of Madison Tierney & Max Rand. This book tells the story from Madison's POV and takes the reader through a journey of Heartache, Uncertainty and also Self Discovery and the possibility of new LOVE. Madison is very focused and driven in her career and after some personal heartache takes a chance on the ever enchanting Max Rand and The Rolling Isaack's. Madison gets a first class view of the life of a Rock Star, but little by little Rand (as Madison calls him) start's to edge his way into Madison's heart piece by piece. Can she overcome her insecurities and take a chance on Rand?
The story in this book is beautiful. No other way to put it, just beautiful. First you have Madison, who has endured the worst kind of rejection possible when her husband of ten years leaves her for another woman. She has begun to reclaim her identity and rebuild her life by renewing her career as a writer. To do so, she follows a rock band on tour in order to write a book based on their experiences on the road. Now you have Max Rand, lead singer of the band Rolling Isaacs. Eight years younger than Madison, Max is super hot, very talented and seems to really be into Madison.

The story is in Madison's POV and is mostly in her head and in her written Love Notes to Rand. There isn't a lot of dialog between the two and I was in constant awe that Madison didn't turn into an uber bitch at all the mixed messages and misunderstandings, along with sabotage by her ex. I was probably just as frustrated as she was by all the interruptions she and Rand endured every time things started to heat up between them. Don't give up, though. The last chapters will melt your socks right off!

The writing style of this book is unusual and I had a little trouble with the flow of the words sometimes, but I really believe this author will give us some wonderful books in the future, as her experience grows. So, now, I have already purchased the next book, Love Notes, and am starting it just as soon as I submit this review!
